Commissioner William D. Magwood of the NRC visited WSC to observe first hand our GPWR and 3KEYTOUCH technology, which he learned of during a visit to Three Rivers Community College where he saw a presentation on these educational simulator technologies. Commissioner Magwood was also interested in our Duke Robinson Control Room GlassTop Simulator (CRGTS) project being built to support operator familiarization and training on the DCS HMI prior to installation in the actual control room. The CRGTS is a full scale replica of the entire control room that uses touch screen technology instead of hard panel instruments.
